At Makau Makers, every product is created with a focus on quality, durability, and real-world use. Our standards are built around function first—while embracing the natural character of the materials we use.
Wood Products
Due to the handcrafted nature of our wood pieces, variations in grain, color, and texture are expected. These natural differences are part of what makes each piece unique and are not considered defects.
We carefully inspect every item to ensure it meets our standards for strength, finish, and functionality.
Apparel — Cache Crew & Garments
Our garments, including the Cache Crew, are designed with a lived-in feel from the start.
You may notice:
- Slight variations in print or dye
- A softer, worn-in appearance
- Natural fading over time
This is intentional and part of the design—meant to feel like your favorite piece after a few washes.
Care Recommendations
To maintain quality and extend the life of your garment:
- Wash in cold water
- Tumble dry low or hang dry
- Avoid harsh detergents
We continuously test our fabrics, dyes, and inks to ensure long-lasting quality while preserving the intended look and feel.
